Conspiracy of The Rich by Robert Kiyosaki

Conspiracy of The Rich

A free online interactive book.

The Right Book. The Right Time. The Right Price.

Robert Kiyosaki, author of the #1 bestselling personal finance book of all time, Rich Dad Poor Dad is taking a new approach with his next book. He’s releasing the book, Conspiracy of the Rich: The 8 New Rules of Money, online — for free. And he’s inviting readers to participate in the writing process.

Conspiracy of the Rich: The 8 New Rules of Money, will be an interactive project in which Kiyosaki will not only offer his written ‘draft’ chapters online, but invite feedback, commentary and questions from readers across the globe via website forums and blogs. Reader feedback will then be incorporated into the book as it is written and released, chapter by chapter, on the Internet. This bold and unique approach will enable the millions of people around the world who have put the Rich Dad principles to work in their lives — as well as those who are challenged by today’s harrowing economic times — to engage directly with Kiyosaki and literally help him shape his new book as it is being written.

“We are living in tumultuous, unsettling and frightening economic times,” said Rick Wolff, Vice President and Executive Editor for Hachette Book Group, publisher of Rich Dad Poor Dad and the 26 books in the Rich Dad series, “and Robert believes that people today, perhaps more than ever before, are hungry for information and financial education. The fact that he is committed to writing and distributing a new book to the world for free is amazing to us, and indicative of his genuine concern for the challenging economic times in which we live. Today, more than ever, the world needs a voice they can trust and someone they can rely on to deliver the cold, hard facts about what is really happening in the world.”

“This is the right book, at the right time, at the right price,” says Kiyosaki, in reference to the free and universal access to this book. “This is not the time for traditional answers. The time for this book is now — and the Web will let us do that.”

Adam Khoo: Secrets Of Self-Made Millionaires

Adam Khoo: Secrets Of Self-Made Millionaires # Author: Adam Khoo
# Publisher: Adam Khoo
# Number Of Pages: 180
# Publication Date: N/A
# ISBN-10: N/A
# ISBN-13: 9789810552848
# Format: PDF | 10MB

If you think Robert Kiyosaki's "Rich Dad Poor Dad" is an excellent book, wait till you read Adam Khoo's "Secrets of Self-Made Millionaires" before you comment further. Some of you might not have heard of Adam Khoo before, let me give you a quick introduction!

Adam Khoo is a Singapore entrepreneur, a best selling author and a peak performance trainer. A self-made millionaire by the age of 26, he owns and runs three businesses with a combined annual turnover of $20m. He is the CEO of Adam Khoo Learning Technologies Group Pte Ltd, one of Asia's Largest Public Training Companies and Education Group. To prove that he is not a dud, check out his company's website, www.akltg.com

He got rich first with his 3 brick-and-mortar businesses before he wrote "Secrets of Self-Made Millionaires". The point I want to make to you is that he made his money first, before he ever taught anyone how to start earning their first million bucks, because there are some guys out there who get rich by selling "How to Get Rich eBooks" which are total crap. You get what I mean?

His latest book, Secrets of Self-Made Millionaires (SSMM), is the BEST finance book I have read so far. It is the most practical, powerful and comprehensive book ever written on how to create, manage, multiply and enjoy your money. It is a must read for entrepreneurs, managers, professionals, executives and anybody who has ever dreamt of getting out of the rat race and onto the path of financial freedom. SSMM makes "Rich Dad Poor Dad" looks like a book written for kids. Why do I say so? If you realized, a lot of self-help or finance books are all very conceptual or theoretical.

How to Be Invisible: A Step-By-Step Guide To Protecting Your Assets, Your Identity, And Your Life by J.J. Luna

How to Be Invisible: A Step-By-Step Guide To Protecting Your Assets, Your Identity, And Your Life by J.J. Luna# Author: J.J. Luna
# Hardcover: 272 pages
# Publisher: Thomas Dunne Books; 1st edition (July 7, 2000)
# Language: English
# ISBN-10: 0312252501
# ISBN-13: 978-0312252502
# Format: PDF | 1.5MB

It's hard to say how private investigators would react to books like J. J. Luna's How to Be Invisible–while it makes their jobs a lot harder, most of them are paid by the hour. If you want to withdraw from the snooping eyes of the government, corporations, stalking ex-boyfriends, or practically anyone else, this practical, down-to-earth guide will help you and your family vanish. It's not a glamorous James Bond life Mr. Luna is inviting you to take part in; it's probably much like the life you're living right now. Spending much of the early part of the book frightening the reader with tales of stalkers and mistaken identities, the author successfully makes his case that a few adjustments to an individual's personal information flow can make a life-or-death difference.

While getting his plan off the ground will take a bit of planning and effort (you have to move at least once to clear your trail), it is sustainable and worthwhile even for those who think they have nothing to hide. Learn about anonymous travel and purchase, using trusts and corporations to keep your assets private, and how recent laws (the book's date of publication is 2000) significantly affect older methods of guaranteeing privacy. Luna makes no claim to know the law where you live and suggests that you consult a trusted local attorney before implementing most of his advice. Just knowing how easily a criminal can learn about and exploit your personal information will make you want to do just that.

At the tender age of nineteen, Donahue Peebles entered the business jungle with no resources beyond his native smarts, a decent education, and a powerful drive to succeed. Seven years later he became a multimillionaire. Today, with a net worth of more than a quarter-billion dollars, he commands a real estate empire stretching from the boulevards of Washington, D.C., to the sparkling beaches of Miami Beach to the glitzy strips of Las Vegas. How did this determined young entrepreneur achieve such spectacular success so quickly? Can others learn his secrets and emulate his accomplishments? Can you?

These crisp, straightforward principles can help any motivated entrepreneur go from dirt poor to filthy rich in a hurry.

In entertaining first-person accounts of his most important deals, Mr. Peebles reveals how each transaction required him to find new resources within himself to ensure its success. Through this process, he discovered valuable principles that would aid him in all of his future endeavors. Some lessons are motivational and inspirational; many are hardball business how-to's that apply in any industry and any type of transaction.

Uninsured in America: Life and Death in the Land of Opportunity by Susan Sered, Rushika Fernandopulle

# Author: Susan Sered, Rushika Fernandopulle
# Hardcover: 270 pages

# Publisher: University of California Press; 1 edition (April 11, 2005)

# Language: English

# ISBN-10: 0520244427

# ISBN-13: 978-0520244429

# Format: PDF | 1.35MB

Sered, an anthropologist, and Fernandopulle, a doctor specializing in public-health policy, provide a troubling look at Americans without health insurance, some of whom must choose between food and medical treatment. They interviewed more than 120 uninsured Americans in Texas, Mississippi, Idaho, Illinois, and Massachusetts as well as physicians, administrators, and health-policy officials. The result is a collection of heartrending stories of the "caste of the ill, the infirm, and the marginally employed."

The authors describe the "death spiral" of people who lack insurance for myriad reasons--including self-employment and divorce--and whose illnesses cannot be adequately treated. Their medical conditions inevitably deteriorate--small tumors metastasize, diabetes leads to amputation or dialysis treatments--increasing both the costs and the dire consequences. Once individuals are caught in the death spiral, they are unlikely to find a way out. The ultimate impact of this shocking crisis is felt by all Americans in the form of higher health-care costs and more antibiotic-resistant bacteria as conditions go untreated. This is a stark and disturbing book.

Affluenza: When Too Much is Never Enough by Clive Hamilton, Richard Denniss

Clive Hamilton, Richard Denniss | Allen & Unwin | 2006-04-01 | ISBN: 1741146712 | 240 pages | PDF | 1.5 MB

Anyone concerned about the level of their personal debt or frustrated by the rat race of aspiring to an affluent lifestyle will appreciate this critique of the effects of over-consumption. This analysis pulls no punches as it describes both the problem and what can be done to stop it. Analyzing the increasing rates of stress, depression, and obesity as possible effects of the consumption binge currently gripping the Western world, this report tracks how Australians overwork, the growing number of things thrown out, self-medicated drugs, and the real meaning of the word choice.

Affluenza tracks the growth and influence of conspicuous consumption in Australia, with some side-ways glances at other nations as well. (Most notably, the US and Britain) To paraphrase the authors - "Affluenza is the buying of stuff you don't need, with money you don't have, to impress people that you don't like". The book exposes the growth and impact of "the spending disease" from about the mid 1960s to the present day. It's a fascinating, and some times chilling read.
In this slim but data packed book, you learn how mass media and marketing are targeting your household and kids, with ad campaigns, marketing strategies, and product branding to engender a sense of need and emotional attachment to material goods. Fortunately, the authors also give some practical advice as to how an average person may "down-shift" and break the cycle of dependency. Often insightful, and never preachy, this is the kind of book you buy multiple copies of and hand out to your friends.

Rich Dad's Guide to Investing: What the Rich Invest in That the Poor and Middle Class Do Not! by Robert T. Kiyosaki, Sharon L. Lechter

Robert T. Kiyosaki, Sharon L. Lechter | Time Warner Books (June 2000) | English | 403 Pages | ISBN-10: 0446677469 # ISBN-13: 978-0446677462 | PDF | 2.3MB

The rich are different from the rest of us, if for no other reason than U.S. tax and securities laws allow them to invest in ways that keep us from catching up to them. That's why 90 percent of all corporate shares of stock are owned by 10 percent of the people. Kiyosaki believes it's possible for anyone to move up into that 10 percent, but it takes a different view of investing than most people have: it takes a plan to be a successful investor. And a plan is more than simply buying and selling, or collecting "assets" that bring in no cash and are thus more akin to liabilities. The way most people invest, "they might as well be pushing a wheelbarrow in a circle," he writes.

A plan is "mechanical, automatic, and boring," a formula for success that has worked historically for most of those who've used it. Kiyosaki's "rich dad" (actually, the father of his best friend) tells him the simplest analogy is the game Monopoly: buy four green houses, trade them for one red hotel, and repeat until you become rich. The overall message of Rich Dad's Guide to Investing is that this is an abundant world, full of opportunity for the sophisticated investor. However, it sometimes takes a while to find this point. Much of the book is told in dialogues between young Kiyosaki and his rich dad, and these conversations can ramble.

There are rewards for the careful reader--for example, in the middle of a section on the basic rules of investing, Kiyosaki's rich dad compares investor education to toilet training: difficult at first but eventually automatic. But getting to these inspired metaphors means wading through a lot of repetitive dialogue. It's a bit ironic that someone who advocates investor discipline should show so little as a writer. But by the end of the book, even the rambling starts to make sense. By the hundredth time you read that the rich don't work for money, and that you don't need money to make money, both concepts start to make sense. It still looks difficult to apply these ideas, but Rich Dad's Guide to Investing certainly makes the case that they'll work for anyone bold and smart enough to practice them.

The Little Book That Builds Wealth: The Knockout Formula for Finding Great Investments by Pat Dorsey

Pat Dorsey | Wiley (March 3, 2008) | Language: English | ISBN-10: 047022651X ISBN-13: 978-0470226513 | PDF | 780KB

"A detailed exploration of Warren Buffet's "wide economic moat" concept - how to find companies with a true in-built competitive advantage." (Financial Times, Tues 26th February)

Product Description
To make money in today's dynamic market environment, you need to invest in companies that will perform in the face of sustained competitive pressure. But how can you accurately identify companies that are great today and likely to remain great for many years to come?

The answer to this question lies in competitive advantages, or economic moats. Just as moats were dug around medieval castles to keep the opposition at bay, economic moats protect the high returns on capital enjoyed by the world’s best companies. If you can identify companies that have moats, and you can purchase their shares at reasonable prices, you’ll begin to build a portfolio of solid businesses that will improve your odds of doing well in the stock market.

In The Little Book That Builds Wealth, author Pat Dorsey—the Director of Equity Research for leading independent investment research provider Morningstar, Inc.—outlines this proven approach and reveals how you can effectively apply it to your own investments. Step by step, Dorsey discusses why economic moats are such strong indicators of great long-term investments and examines four of their most common sources: intangible assets, cost advantages, customer-switching costs, and network economics. After establishing a firm understanding of moats, Dorsey shows you how to recognize moats that are eroding, the key role that industry structure plays in creating competitive advantage, and how management can create (as well as destroy) moats.

Along the way, Dorsey provides an informative overview of valuation—because even a wide-moat company will be a poor investment if you pay too much for its shares—and illustrates the issues addressed through case studies that apply competitive analysis to some well-known companies.

Although the moat concept is not a new one—it was made famous by Warren Buffett—the modern-day investor can benefit from what it has to offer. With The Little Book That Builds Wealth as your guide, you’ll quickly discover why moats should be an integral part of your analytical investment toolkit and learn how to leverage this approach to build a portfolio of high-performance stocks.

Pat Dorsey, CFA (Chicago, IL) is Director of Equity Research at Morningstar, Inc. He played an integral part in the development of the Morningstar Rating™ for stocks, as well as Morningstar’s economic moat ratings. Dorsey is also the author of The Five Rules for Successful Stock Investing: Morningstar's Guide to Building Wealth and Winning in the Market (Wiley). He holds a master’s degree in political science from Northwestern University and a bachelor’s degree in government from Wesleyan University. Please visit www.findingmoats.com.

Untapped Riches: Never Pay Off Your Mortgage--and Other Surprising Secrets for Building Wealth by Susan Cutaia, Anthony Cutaia , Robert Slater

Susan Cutaia, Anthony Cutaia , Robert Slater | AMACOM/American Management Association (December 31, 2006) | ISBN: 0814473962 | 223 pages | PDF | 1.1 Mb

Why do some folks get rich while others just get by? The biggest stumbling block for most people is believing they lack the capital required for serious wealth-building. Untapped Riches dispels this myth. This remarkable book reveals that most homeowners are in fact sitting on "untapped riches." Working diligently to pay down mortgages, they are unwittingly tying up money in equity they could be investing elsewhere for greater return. Offering 40 wealth-building and wealth-protection strategies, many of which fly in the face of conventional wisdom, Untapped Riches will change how readers think about borrowing money, investing, and mortgages. Challenging the idea that it is more financially sound to be debt-free, the authors believe that there is both good and bad debt -- and that the former is essential to generating cash flow and building significant wealth. Real estate tycoons know it’s all about leverage. Now, the authors, who made their own fortune in real estate, show how anyone can get the cash they need, and really put it to work.

"Like most people, you've probably dreamt about making smart investments that would eventually allow you to do things like take one extra vacation a year…or own a nicer home…or even just rest a little more comfortably knowing that there's money in the bank. Maybe you even have a specific investment opportunity you'd like to take advantage of and know would pay off…but don't have the cash at your disposal to even get started.

Now you can stop being frustrated, because if you own a home, you're sitting on usable equity you didn't even know you had! Untapped Riches is an eye-opening book that dispels longstanding myths and misconceptions about financial health, showing you that there is both good and bad debt, and that the key to building wealth is leveraging the capital you already have…money that would otherwise be tied up, giving you significantly less return than you could otherwise acquire by making smart investment decisions.

Untapped Riches shows you how to use new mortgage instruments and flexible loans, with sound information on ""smart loans,"" interest-only mortgages, 1031 exchanges, and negative amortization. The book proves that you don't need a raise, a second job, or a get-rich-quick scheme to increase your net worth. You already have everything you need right now. This book provides you with 40 wealth-building and wealth-protection strategies you can use immediately to achieve your financial goals.

Flying in the face of conventional wisdom -- and backing it up with proven techniques and hard-won wisdom -- Untapped Riches will change the way you think about money, mortgages, and investing, and help you get the cash you need, and really put it to work."

Rich Dad, Poor Dad: What the Rich Teach Their Kid About Money –That the Poor and Middle Class Do Not! by Robert T. Kiyosaki & Sharon L. Lecht (audio)

Robert T. Kiyosaki & Sharon L. Lecht | Business Plus; 1 edition (April 1, 2000) | English | ISBN-10: 0446677450 | ISBN-13: 978-0446677455 | PDF | 429KB & 80MB+ Audio

Personal-finance author and lecturer Robert Kiyosaki developed his unique economic perspective through exposure to a pair of disparate influences: his own highly educated but fiscally unstable father, and the multimillionaire eighth-grade dropout father of his closest friend.

The lifelong monetary problems experienced by his "poor dad" (whose weekly paychecks, while respectable, were never quite sufficient to meet family needs) pounded home the counterpoint communicated by his "rich dad" (that "the poor and the middle class work for money," but "the rich have money work for them").

Taking that message to heart, Kiyosaki was able to retire at 47. Rich Dad, Poor Dad, written with consultant and CPA Sharon L. Lechter, lays out his the philosophy behind his relationship with money. Although Kiyosaki can take a frustratingly long time to make his points, his book nonetheless compellingly advocates for the type of "financial literacy" that's never taught in schools. Based on the principle that income-generating assets always provide healthier bottom-line results than even the best of traditional jobs, it explains how those assets might be acquired so that the jobs can eventually be shed. --Howard Rothman
